Congratulations to U19 MBL Evergreen!

Winners of the City Tournament and Founders Cup in the 2024 season

Our Club has a new name and a new look this season, and beyond.

Why the change? The club has long recognized that our boundaries far exceed the two neighborhoods of Mt. Baker and Lakewood. We reach all the way south, beyond Rainier Beach, to the Renton city line. We want to include more of our community that play, and live in the neighborhoods that are Rainier Valley. We are proudly a diverse community and hope that our new look, and name will draw more kids and families to find us, and to play the world’s game.

Registration is now open and there will be some MBL crossovers while we continue our preseason rebrand. Everything should work as normal for you, coach and player. If you encounter any trouble please contact us and we’ll help you out!

We will have a new kit (Jersey design and shorts) and will still be able to play with our previous season White/Blue kit. More details on uniforms, this summer.

Real Rent

In 2021, the club’s board voted to contribute a token of support to the Duwamish Tribe of Indians in recognition that our players live and play their games on the traditional lands of the Duwamish People. In April of 2022, the club donated $1 per player to the tribe via Real Rent Duwamish, a utility built and run by volunteers for the purposes of supporting the revival of Duwamish culture and the vitality of the Duwamish Tribe. More information about Real Rent Duwamish is available at the link below.

The club will continue to align COVID protocols with SYSA, Seattle Public Schools and State and Local mandates.

Mt. Baker-Lakewood soccer club takes the health of our community seriously, we ask players, coaches and parents to continue to be responsible and encourage players, coaches and parents to refrain from participating in games/practices and team events if they feel ill or have symptoms of any kind. If you know you have been exposed to COVID or have symptoms please follow testing guidelines. As we all continue to get back to more normal interactions, we ask that you also be mindful of all potential viruses, and illnesses that may be contagious. Including, but not limited to the common cold and the flu. We are all excited to get back to a less restricted pitch, and hope that everyone in our community remains healthy!
