There are two exceptions to this general guideline: When a parent requests their player not return to the previous team. When it is necessary for the club to transfer players to provide an opportunity for all players to have a team. New players are not able to select their team, and coaches are not able to select players for their teams (except that coaches’ children will be placed on the same team as the coach). Returning players must register before June 30 for priority placement on their previous fall season team. Players registering before the July 15 deadline have priority for placement on teams over late registrants, even if the former is a new player and the latter is a returning player. All team assignments are made at the sole discretion of the Registrar. In April of 2022, the club donated $1 per player to the tribe via Real Rent Duwamish, a utility built and run by volunteers for the purposes of supporting the revival of Duwamish culture and the vitality of the Duwamish Tribe.
